With an influx of tourists and outflux of residents, Dubai during the winter months is truly a dynamic place. The weather isn’t scorching hot and that gives us more freedom to roam the streets and explore the city. Most people have more free time as well thanks to the holidays. With so much going on, where’s a good place to start? Here are six suggestions for how to stay occupied during the winter break.

  1. Start A Youtube Channel

They say the best time to plant a tree is yesterday. Start your global internet takeover by starting a YouTube channel. Strapped for ideas? Try Vlogging a typical day in your life with your friends. Or if your a gamer start livestreaming you playing your favorite video games. Another idea is to talk about your interests (even if it’s as off the wall as the Smurfs.)The internet is such a beautifully broad place that no matter what someone, somewhere will enjoy your content.

  1. Sail The Dubai Creek

With the flashiness of Dubai Marina and Jumeirah Beach areas, older areas of Dubai can sometimes be neglected by both residents and tourists alike. The beautiful waterways that run through the city are great ways to see everything beside an Uber, the metro or a taxi. Historically, the creek divided the town into two main sections; Deira and Bur Dubai. Check out a piece of history and enjoy the beautiful weather as well.

  1. Visit Miracle Gardens

Spanning 72,000 square meters, Dubai Miracle Gardens is a great place to enjoy during the winter months. With 150 million flowers arranged in a variety of different ways, it’s a beautiful almost hidden destination in the Emirate. For an additional 55 DHS you can also check out Dubai Butterfly Garden.
