The Dubai Fitness Challenge comes back again to town- 6th year now! The city’s Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s initiative encourages the city to partake in the 30×30 challenge which is running from October 29 to November 27. The challenge entails Dubai residents to take up 30 minutes of fitness activities- big or small- for 30 days to make the city one of fittest places to be in.
With the entire city bustling with their newly fitness-driven lives, Dubai has not held back with their preparations for DFC ’22. Find some of the many activities that are taking place across the city in coordination with the challenge as listed below.
Dubai Run: November 20, 2022
Enjoy this chance to run along Dubai’s iconic main road, and join the city in getting your 30 minutes of exercise. Choose from 10km or 5km routes, and run, jog or even walk – go at your own pace, and make the most of this landmark event along the Sheikh Zayed Road. Register now at
DP World Kite Beach Fitness Village
The DP World Kite Beach Fitness Village is packed with great ways for families to get fit and have fun – almost all for free! Head over to the village at Kite Beach from 29 October to explore the 15 different fitness zones, all dedicated to helping you and your loved ones achieve your fitness goals. Open from 7am to 11pm at the weekend, and from 3pm to 11pm on weekdays, there are hundreds of classes throughout Dubai Fitness Challenge. RTA Last Exit Fitness Village
RTA Last Exit Al Khawaneej Fitness Village is packed with great ways for families to get fit and have fun. Head over to the village at Last Exit – Al Khawaneej from 29 October to explore the five different fitness zones, all dedicated to helping you and your loved ones achieve your fitness goals. Located in the ranch-themed Last Exit, the fitness village is just the place for the whole family to get their 30 in, and then enjoy a tasty (and healthy) treat from one of Last Exit’s famous food trucks. Expo City Dubai Ride: November 13, 2022
Expo City Dubai Ride takes place on Sunday 13 November with a 3km parade lap through iconic features of Expo City Dubai, following which riders have the option to take part in 12km, 18km, 40km and 74km around the flat roads of Dubai South. Al Wasl Plaza: November 13, 2022
Al Wasl Plaza presents a host of work out sessions on both Saturday and Sunday from Les Mills, Barry’s Bootcamp, The Platform, Pure Bhangra and even a Zumba Party. Les Mills Bodybalance is a new generation yoga class that will improve your mind, your body and your life starting at 5pm. Breathwork masterclasses from yoga and meditation expert Manish Pole on Sunday from 5:30pm. Dance classes from Pure Bhangra on Sunday 8pm.
Dubai Women’s Run 2022: November 13, 2022
Join the one of the largest women athletic event at the Bluewaters Island this Sunday. Run past the JBR skyline and don’t forget to be there on time! Unity Run by Emirates NBD: November 19, 2022
On the 19th of November, join the Dubai community at the most artsy place in town- Dubai Design District to partake in the fundraising running event Emirates NBD Unity Run to become a step closer to fitness for a good cause.
