Employers will want to know what type of person you are both in the office and out of the office. Be ready to share what makes you unique and what would make you a good fit in the company.

The key to this question is to be honest. Share what history you know about the company and their track record.

  1. What was your biggest takeaway from university?

What did you learn? What type of connections did you make? How did it affect you as a person?

  1. Tell me about a time you had a conflict and you resolved it.

Conflict resolution is a skill that will help you dramatically in pushing your career forward. Being able to tackle problems head on will make you a very valuable employee.

  1. What are your biggest strengths?

Don’t be afraid of being confident in sharing what makes you great.

  1. What are your weaknesses?

Be assertive and know that weaknesses won’t make you less of a viable candidate.

  1. Do you prefer to work alone or with others?

Show that your able to do both and it will suit you well.

  1. How do you handle criticism?

Are you straightforward or do you dodge from criticism? Early on in your career it’s okay to be sensitive towards handling working criticism so never be too hard on yourself.

  1. What are three words you’d use to describe yourself?

Since this may be your first time meeting someone, be sincere and truthful in the way you’d define yourself.

  1. Are you willing to travel? 

One question you’ll surely want to answer yes to!
