DESCRIPTION:THE CONCEPT\n\n\n\nThe idea of the Short Film competition is to create an online campaign for a period of one month.\nHigh School & University Students will be invited to shareshort films on Instagram with the theme “Frame the Future“\n\n\n\nTheme: “Unseen Summers”\nCapture a summer moment\, feeling\, or perspective that rarely makes it to the screen.\nThink: hidden rituals\, fleeting connections\, climate reflections\, or the summer that wasn’t what everyone expected. \n📽️ Categories\n\n\nNarrative (fiction) \n\n\nDocumentary (under 5 min) \n\n\nExperimental / Animation \n\n\n60‑second vertical (for social media) \n\n\nwinners will be chosen by a panel of judges. \n\nThe focus of the event will be to find talented students across the country.\n\nWho can apply?\n\nThe event is open to filmmakers aged 16-22\,\nParticipants must be currently enrolled in a high school and a university program to be eligible to apply.\nWe welcome students from all backgrounds and areas of study to submit their short films for consideration.\n\nWhat can they apply\n\nParticipants can submit short films that capture a day in the life of a student or university community.\nShort films must be between 1-10 minutes in length to be eligible for consideration\nParticipants can submit either a production they are currently working on or a completed film that was made within the last 2years.\nWe welcome films of all genres\, styles\, and themes as long as they meet the “day in the life” criteria.\n\nHow to apply?\n\nStep 1 : Students fill out the application form below.\nStep 2 : Students submit their work via Email\nStep 3 : Students Wait for confirmation of acceptance and instructions on how to participate in the event\n\nTime Line\nLauch May \nSubmissions June – July \nWinners will be chosen at the beginning of the next Academic Session \nPrizes\nVouchers\nUniversity Scholarships\nPrize Money \nOops!
